The Future is Here

Innovators around the world have worked hard to change the world we live in. Everyday inventions like the selfie stick and waterproof cases make our lives better, but are we done? Has mankind invented everything necessary to live an unchallenging life? It still hasn’t. We’re on the verge of the future. These new gadgets will leave you crazily anticipating the future.

Oculus Rift The Xbox One and PS4 are the gaming consoles of the past compared to the new Oculus Rift. The Oculus Rift is the new frontier of virtual reality. Using the Oculus Rift is easy. First you put on the goggles over your eyes which allow you to see your screen. Then you download a game and you are automatically immersed in the gaming experience. The Oculus Rift website states, “Use your head movement to explore, aim, and interact.” Instead of being a third player shooter in Halo, gamers now have the opportunity to move and shoot like actual soldiers.

Form 2: A Personal 3D Printer Personal printers allow people to print out their own documents, but now imagine printing your own creations, such as figurines, scale model cars and buildings. The process is easy. The FormLab website states, “Prepare your model, set up your print, and upload over Wi-Fi.” Most recently, doctors have used 3D technology to create real life proportional organs that they will soon be performing surgery on. Doctors use the models of the 3D organ models to fully understand where precise cuts need to be made and focus on proper implementation of organs into a body. Get creative and design. Your ideas are no longer limited to paper.

Apple Watch Time isn’t the only information you’ll receive from this watch. Apple states on the official Apple Watch web page that the Apple Watch can “receive and respond to notifications in an instant” and allows users to “Control your music using only your voice.” Instead of telling your sweetheart how much you love them, you can now send them your heart beat. If you’re trying to cheat on an important test, you can have your friends send you pictures and you can zoom in and out with the dial*. The Apple Watch allows you to be connected to the world through your wrist.

All in all, the future most definitely looks promising. Soon cars will be driving people. People will no longer wait in line for shoes when they can design and print them at home. People will be playing games and actually enjoy the thrill as if they were there. Enjoy today’s phones and cars while you can; the technology of the future is coming our way.
