Pizza?Pizza!Pizza.Pizza?

Pizza is healthy for the heart. Technically speaking it’s bad for your heart if you eat it every day. Then again, pizza tastes good, so eat all you want. Sometimes people think that by eating too much of the same thing it can get boring. I don't know how someone can get bored of pizza. Pizza offers a variety of flavors that you could choose from. You could order or make a pizza with different types of crust, topping and sauces in whatever size you want it.

Many people today say that they love pizza. Israel Garcia, a fellow Libra student, said, “The world would be a cruel place without pizza.” Mostly everyone I questioned asked did not know the details of how pizza came to life. Others like Genesis Juarez, another libra student, said that “Italians made it.” Many students answered the same way Genesis did.

Pizza in Italy is very different from the pizza here in America. One of the major differences is the sauce they use in the pizza. In Italy, the sauce is lighter and usually is made with fresh cut tomatoes, basil, garlic, and olive oil. In America, the sauce can vary depending on the pizzeria but it is usually heavier than Italian sauce. Italian pizza usually does not have meat and if it does there is not much on it. The crust is different, too. The crust in Italy is usually thinner than American pizzas.

The way you eat your pizza really depends on your preference or where you live. Two of the most popular pizzas are the New York and the Chicago pizza. The New York is said to be better than any pizza here in California. The pizza does not really look any different from California pizza, but it is more satisfying. The New York style pizza has a crispy crust topped with a thin layer of tomato sauce cheese and your choice of toppings. It is eaten like the pizza we are used to. All you need is to cut a slice and then use your hands to take a bite. These pizzas are pretty much famous for their oil dripping slices. Now this might not sound healthy at all, but what pizza is. If you are going to eat a pizza, eat it right because there is no way you are ever going to feel healthy after eating pizza.

The Chicago pizza is slightly different than what we consider normal pizza. Just imagine Little Caesars deep dish pizza, but, of course, it is better tasting and looking. Unlike the Little Caesars deep dish pizza, the Chicago pizza is circular and is very popular for all pizza lovers in the world. The Chicago style pizza has layers of toppings and cheese. Obviously you can order different types of cheese and toppings. Now this pizza you can not just cut a slice and eat it, with this type of pizza you usually have to use utensils.
