Softball on the Move

The Marquez girl’s varsity softball team has begun their season. They played against Contreras High School. The game was intense, the Marquez Gladiators were doing great against Contreras High School and the final score demonstrated their dominance. They got a little too calm which allowed Contreras to catch up, but that only made them go into extra innings. The extra innings took a toll on both teams, but the Marquez Gladiators managed to fight through exhaustion. The game ended with a score of 18-16. Even though, the Gladiators won the score was a little too close for comfort. After the game I interviewed one of the most committed player’s, Kody Munoz, and she states,“The game was intense. We kept trying to do what we had to do in order to go into extra innings; I believe that if we had all of our starters, we wouldn’t have had to go into extra innings and the game would have been over much faster...I think this game shows my true potential because in every game I tend to give it all I’ve got and the same goes for my team.” She believes this is the start of the Gladiators uprising, do you?
