Summer lovin, Summer fun

Whenever I think of summer I think of the perfect teen movie, or any other teen movie that takes place in the summer. I expect a fun summer that involves me in being super active. Then summer comes and I am not ready for it. Summer can be a dread thanks to the heat. It gets to a point where all you want to do is hang out at home and not care about what you look like. There are many things you can do in this type of weather.

You can go to the beach. The beach is a fun place to be at during the summer. Get together with your family and plan a picnic at the beach. If you are not a fan of the sun hitting your face for a long time then go at night like I do. Summer nights are the best nights in my opinion. The Santa Monica pier is fun if you go with your friends. You can even skate to the Venice boardwalk from the pier.

You can also go shopping. Honestly shopping is my go-to-summer hobby. You do not have to spend a lot when you go shopping. Just go with a group of friends and go window shopping at a nearby mall. If you do not know what window shopping is like my brother than it is when you walk around the mall and just look at the clothes. You can just look at the clothes on the windows display or be daring and walk around the actual store. Anyways, the reason this is a good idea to be doing in the summer is because of the AC in the mall. The mall is always cold during the summer. You can even buy cold deserts from there if that is not enough. The mall has pretty much everything from stores, massage sofas, normal sofas, and sometimes offer a free hairstyle.

If you are like me and in need for a job for the summer then I would recommend getting a job at retail store or my personal favorite, Cold Stone. Having some extra money is always good if it you do not get too ambitious. You can save money for whatever you please and that way your summer would not go to waste.

Now if you do not think the beach, the mall, or getting a summer job is not fun then you can go to an amusement park. You can go with family and friends. Amusement parks are fun if you like the thrill of going on a rollercoaster. Have fun and eat burgers and stay there until the park closes because its summer -- what else do you have to do? You can even go to a water park. It’s refreshing and you can have fun without getting sand in your belongings.

Summer is a time to have fun. Just because you have to study does not mean you have to stay home. You can easily study at the beach or the park. Just have a picnic with a bunch of other friends who are willing to study during the summer. Just have fun and remember to not get into any trouble or make mistakes that you will regret for a good long time.
