Angelina Jolie : A Humanitarian

Many of you guys know about the one and only Angelina Jolie. You guys have seen her films and seen her win Academy awards on T.V. We all know Angelina Jolie has potential to be more than just a common actress on television.

Mrs. Jolie is a well known humanitarian. She is most known because of her work with refugees as Special Envoy. Special Envoy meaning that she was sort of in charge of taking care refugees.

Mrs. Jolie is also former Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for refugees. She has traveled to see the extreme poverty people in Africa have to deal with. In Africa Angelina got to see what a modest help can do in these poor towns.She also got to to experience on how just by offering free food in schools can change the attendance rate in african children. Mrs. Jolie has offered aid for these people . Her goal is to end extreme poverty in about 20 years.

Angelina has also participated in other humanitarian acts. Mrs. Jolie appeared in a short documentary on mtv to inform viewers about sex trafficking. She made sure to inform others about this situation and on how it still happens today. Angelina also appeared on many other short documentaries addressing the several problems happening in today’s world.

Angelina Jolie has made many appearances in Charity events or humanitarians event. She obviously has a need to help others who are in need. Many of her fans in various television programs have said she reminds them of the famous actress Audrey Hepburn. Audrey Hepburn was also an academy award winning actress and a well known humanitarian.

Angelina Jolie has done so much aside from her acting role. woman because she has brought so much good to this world.
