Exotic Pets in the United States

There are many pets that you can buy in the United States other from your typical pet like a cat, dog, fish and so on. There are many exotic pets that you can own in the United States the most common, including the Bearded Dragons and the tarantulas. The reasons why these are some of the most popular exotic pets is that they are less expensive and relatively easy to care for.

The exotic pet that most people did not know they can buy in the United States is the one that you would not think that you could own. For example did you know that you can buy a Sugar Glider (a marsupial). These gliders have become popular because of their small size, playfulness and their small housing space —they only need a 24 by 24 inch cage.

Similar to the Sugar Glider, the Fennec Fox is the most desired exotic pet because they are playful half the time and the other half they are either snuggly or sleeping. The Fennec Fox are like a dog and cat mixed they or playful like a dog and have the aloofness of a cat, you may think that they are not aggressive, but they are like dogs they are lonely to their owners and other people.

Another exotic animal that you can own is a wallaby, they are members of the kangaroo family, but much smaller there average size is about 29 inches. Like the other exotic animals they are wanted because so their playfulness and their size but their is a downside to getting a Wallaby at times they can be aggressive for reasons unknown.

All these exotic animals are all wanted for different characteristics but before you go out and buy one make sure that you have the time and dedication to take good care of this animals.
