Are Our Laptops Obsolete?

Have you found yourself ever working on a project for a class or researching a specific topic and your laptop randomly died without any warning? These laptops die or crash on you for many reasons, including the infamous short battery life and the outdated software that can’t handle the internet’s features. A student that would like to remain anonymous said “ I don't like them, they are to slow”. The laptops that we have currently are the HP Probooks -- don't get me wrong these were great laptops when they first came out. As a result, many students have reported that these laptops take too long to load or fail to connect to the internet.

Today we see many laptops that have better features than the HP Probooks like updated software and higher screen resolution, but the majority of those laptops cost about $500 and up, a lot more than what we would want to pay for them. Although many would prefer the high end laptops such as a MacBook Pro from Apple or the new Surface from Microsoft, buying a few of those laptops would cost our school a hefty $1000. Despite the many quality laptops that are overpriced for what we would use them for school Lenovo offers many different and affordable laptops. Lenovo has laptops for Entertainment & Gaming, Professional and Students. What we need in school are, the G-series are ideal for us since they start as low as $249.99 and are more advanced than our current ones. For a full cart of this laptops it would cost us around $5500 dollars. So if we want to get new laptops I would suggest getting the lenovo G-40.
